| I've never taken a boy on one
of my field trips (without his mom), but I decided to give it a try on the
recent Shephelah trip. |
Luke did great - he was right
in there with the students, including here climbing up ladders in the
caves that were hideouts for ancient rebels. |
| The whole family
decided to come on the Negev trip. Here the boys and I climb up the
cliffs of the Nahal Zin. It's a
beautiful hike. |
| It looks like all
we do is climb; the reality is that we do more, but it is the climbing
that we take pictures of :-). Or boys acting goofy. The big
boys here were joined by the little boys. |

| Bethany has her own kind of
fun. In Eilat she found a horse to ride and she loved that. |
In the Red Canyon the boys got
to scale some more walls. This was off the approved path. |
| There was time for floating in
the Dead Sea, though Luke preferred to cling instead of free float.
When they get older, they'll enjoy it more. |
Mark wanted to join the other
students who were applying the black Dead Sea mud to their skin.

All of this wore everyone out. Here
our friend Becky and Bethany are knocked out on one of the bus rides. |
