For those of us who haven't been there, what's the "outrageous" entrance fee? I skimmed the article & didn't see it mentioned.
G.M. – I don't remember exactly. Probably in the neighborhood of $6/person. With a group of 40 people, that's $240 to watch a 4-minute video and see 1 boat. By contrast, it costs $.75 each to see Capernaum where you can easily spend an hour. I always take my students to see the boat, but there usually are not groups there, whereas Capernaum, Mt. of Beatitudes, and Tabgha (all a few miles away) are swarming with tour buses.
